Creating social impact and aiding the energy transition

Are two of the key factors to the success of the local energy community that Edinor has promoted in the Gipuzkoan town of Zumarraga. This initiative is a clear example of the positive results of public-private collaboration.

Thanks to the assignment of roofs in public spaces to install solar panels, zero-kilometre sustainable energy is generated in the town. As well as producing clean energy, this means that local residents and businesses benefit from significant savings on their electricity bill.
